August West TurboSweeper picks up large chunks as well as the smallest soot particles. It sucks up the large chunks of debris found in oil and gas flues, on smoke shelves and in fireplace fireboxes as it returns large quantities of cleaned air up to 100cfm to the room during the process. Designed specifically for professional sweeps, this portable vacuum is the perfect companion to the SootSweeper II.
The TurboSweeper's 1 HP-100CFM motor is self cooling and won't burn out if the front end of the hose clogs. It's washable coarse Dacron filter bag covers a fine cotton liner for double filtration capturing even microscopically fine dust and particles as fine as 5 microns.The TurboSweeper is engineered to take abuse from constant daily use. The high-density polyethylene body is compact, weighs just 27 lbs. and is dent proof and rust proof. The crush-proof 1 1/2" vinyl suction hose is a generous 10'' long with molded vinyl cuffs.
