PWR is a powdered additive that is dry mixed with mortar or concrete to provide superior and immediate water repellent properties after curing. When incorporated into mortar or concrete, PWR forms a permanent water repellent matrix which protects mortar or concrete from water penetration, yet allows water vapor to escape. By using PWR, you can waterproof your work the same day.

• PWR can be used to waterproof mortar used for tuckpointing, or during the construction of brick walls or chimneys. When used in combination with masonry, the entire project can be treated the same day with a ChimneySaver Water-Base Water Repellent to provide a complete water repellent system. This convenient powder can also be used in new concrete and for repairs such as chimney crowns, parapet wall caps, and a variety of projects.

Once PWR has been added to a dry mix it must be used immediately. Storing the dry mixture for even a short period of time will make it difficult to mix with water.
